第80回目 ハイファイブ （2014年2月9日）

今回のテーマはShapes

 

《今回の活動内容》

 

１．  Make a circle  でウォームアップ

２． ♪Days of the week (CD #18)

動物のまねをしながら歌いました。

３．   Storytime: “Sleepover Surprise”

海外で幼児（特に女の子）に人気のMy Little Ponyの絵本です。お友達にパジャマパーティに呼ばれたSkywishesが、昼寝しわすれて夜ねむってしまってパーティにいけなかった…でも、翌朝素敵なサプライズ（驚き）が！というお話です。

以前サークルでも読んだ「Is that you, Santa?」のように文章の途中で単語が絵になっているので、子供たちが飽きずに読め、単語のお勉強もできる楽しい絵本です。

 

４．  ♪Circle, Square, Triangle Song

基本の形、まる（circle）、しかく（square）、さんかく（triangle）を指で描いたり（draw)、指差したり（point)、その形にジャンプしたり（jump）、体を動かしながら覚えました。

 

５．  Activity: “Simon Shapes”

 

(put shapes on the whiteboard in the same order as gamesheet)

l  Introduce new shapes (circle à oval, square à rectangle, triangle à diamond) repeat

l  Level 1: Touch the same shape I touch and say the shape one at a time.

l  Level 2: Touch the same shape as I do and say the shapes while adding one more.

l  Level 3: Touch and say the shape I say one at a time.

l  Level 4: Touch the same shape as I say the shapes while adding one more.

l  Level 5: Play the Simon Shapes game in your groups. (Touch & Say the previous shapes + 1)

l  Show how to play the game using the copy on the whiteboard.

６．  ♪The Alphabet Song (CD #3)を元気に歌った後はVの書き方を習いました。

７．  子供たちがVの書き方を練習している間、ママたちはいろんな形の英語名を練習しました。「平行四辺形はなんていう？」（算数の話題から…）「掛け算や割り算の式は英語でどう言う？」などいろんな質問がでました。

ちなみに、おさらいとして上の２点のこたえを描いておきますね！

平行四辺形　：　parallelogram

2×3＝6　：　two times three equal six

12÷4=3　：　twelve divided by 3 equal three
